Caucasus

Oil on Canvas

This painting was inspired by my memories of the mountains — their silence, their strength, and the way the light shifts across the snow. The Caucasus has always felt like a place that breathes slowly, where time stretches and the world feels both distant and close.

I painted it in my studio on a quiet winter day. The colors came together naturally — cool blues, soft grays, and touches of yellow to catch the light. I wanted to keep the feeling simple and honest, like standing in the cold air and watching the peaks disappear into the clouds.

For me, this piece is about stillness — that rare kind of peace you find when the world goes quiet.
