This painting was born from a quiet moment — one of those evenings when everything feels still and distant. The swan became a symbol of calm for me, something pure and steady to hold onto. I painted her close to the woman, almost as if they were part of each other, sharing the same breath.

The gold in the background and the red drapery were my way of adding warmth to the silence. I wanted the piece to feel peaceful but also a little mysterious — like a dream you half-remember after waking.
